The Sociable Male Regent Bowerbird
I get to achieve many wonderful things photographing birds, wild life and landscapes. The Male Regent Bowerbird when I saw him for the first time, I considered him very timid, but as I got to work with them more and more and I built up trust with them I was amazed just how sociable they are. It is not easy to build up this trust it takes time and patience. But what really amazed me was on my last photography trip to O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat last September was how 2 just flew down on my husband's hand and perched there...
A Bowl Of feathers and Color
The King Parrots never disappoint me I get the opportunity to photograph them. Iam lucky as I don't have to travel now to get my King Parrot photos as I have my own little family of them visit us on our property and come to almost arms reach of us while relaxing under our patio. But I thought I would share these few photos to show how socialable, colorful and charming they are. The male has lovely...

Babies Growing Up
Up until last summer I had never seen a juvenile King Parrot, in fact I hadn't even seen a King Parrot male or female until April 2019. Since then they have frequently visited our property. It started with 2 females and 1 male juvenile King Parrots which was amazing as we were able to watch the male transform into the stunning male that he is with his all red head and chest. This first juvenile Male had his first chick last summer and the Male and female bought him down to show him off to my husband and I. Normally...
Road Trip to Dubbo September 2019
Day 1 of Lindy and my road trip to Dubbo. We planned on staying at Armidale on the first night allowing us enough time to stop off at the Queen Mary Falls. The drive to the falls was very dry but Picturesque. We enjoyed the drive to the falls winding up through the gorgeous rainforest stopping on the side of the road to witness to sound of thousands of Bell Minors Bell miners are commonly known as the Bell Bird. Lindy and I could of just stayed there all day listening to the sound of these very small quick birds....
