It is not always easy to spot the tiny Wrens but if you are lucky to spot them, you will find them just amazing to watch especially in their breeding season when the males are busy keeping an eye on all his females. Most wrens are very small and very quick and when not breeding they can be hard to find. The Variegated Fairy-Wren below is so colourful especially the male. Their size is 11cm-14.5cm.They breed from July-Mar  and a female will lay 3-4 eggs. Today the 5th day of our road trip to Dubbo and it is a lovely cool misty rainy day, this will be fun with all my camera gear but we are ready. Lindy and I spent 2 years planning this trip so we plan on making the most of every minute of everyday.
