Honestly, I personally have found Finch's are the most complicated to investigate. There is nothing simple about them at all. There appears to be 15 species of Finch's in Australia. You can also do your own search or you can click on the  Red-Browed Finch. They are a beautiful little bird and fairly tame for having their photos taken. They are 11-11.5cm in size. Similar species is the Red-eared Firetails they hang around in fairs and families and darts to cover in bouncing flight. Their voice is a high pitched squeak, sharp 'dup'; brisk chatter Their habit includes grassy clearings in...

It was an Australian Native Bee. Australia has eleven species of the small black Stingless Bee (see...

Here is just a couple of photos that I took yesterday. Hope everyone is keeping safe. They love to interact with us humans and some of them are very acrobatic and often enjoy hanging upside down. Showing off their feathers is their specialty

It is not always easy getting a photo of a bird in the wild in their natural environment. I have spotted these birds many times while on a photography day trip, but they were too far away and had many trees and branches between them and my camera, making it basically impossible to capture a nice shot.Oh you can get up close at some of these wildlife attractions where they feed them, but there is nothing more enjoyable or rewarding for me than to get them in the wild doing their own thingies. The Crimson Rosella is an Australian Native...
