From Birds to Bees

In Australia we have over 1,700 Australian Native Bees  I haven't spotted the Blue Banded Bee to date but we have noticed they don't appear until it is really warm. I can always hear them as they are much loader than our Honeybee. Most of the bees we have on our property are the Honey Bees (see below 4 images) Today I spotted something that looked very small land on a Grevillea flower so quickly changed my lens so I could capture it. I never get tired or sick of the buzzing sound of bees which we have all year round, thanks to the many natives trees, shrubs and flowering gums. I heard that Bees can remember human faces and that doesn't surprise me because when I am photographing them I get up so close to them and they appear to look at me and I have never been stung by one yet (touch wood).
